Introduced in 1963 for the new 126 film cartridge. Numerous models. There are about six levels of specification, and several chronological steps relating to improved flash or metering.

LEVELS OF SPECIFICATION:
Basic Models: ~ 44, 50, 100, 104, 124, X-15, X-15F.
Basic Models with Metering: ~ 300, 304, 134, 314, 333X, X-30, X-35, X-35F.
Spring Motor: ~ 150, 154, X-25.
Spring Motor and Meter ~ 400, 404, 414, X-45.
Metered f2.8 lens: ~ 324, 700, 714.
Metered f2.8 lens Motor & RF: ~ 800, 804, 814, X-90.

CHRONOLOGICAL SEQUENCES:
The sequence for flash type begins with AG-1 'peanut' bulbs, then flashcubes, X-cubes, and Flipflash. Typically the model number went from one ending in zero to one ending in four to indicate the 4-sided flash cube. With the introduction of the X-cube (or magicube), model numbers generally began or ended with an X. Late models using flipflash can be identified by an F in the model name.

METERING:
Early metering systems use selenium cells, later systems use CdS.

	Stock No 850 Kodak Instamatic 44 c1969-73. Basic model made in USA. Flashcube socket. Very Good condition.
	Stock No 170 Kodak Instamatic 50 c1963/65. protector case. The very first 126 camera ever to be marketed, the Instamatic 50 was introduced in the UK in February of 1963, a month before the Instamatic 100 hit the market. Indication inside the case that this one was made in Australia. ~ Number scratched on top, otherwise good clean condition.
	Stock No 752 Kodak Instamatic 55X The 55X, which for a very simple 126 is extremely scarce, probably because it was only made from 1971-72. Flash cube socket. fixed focus. Manual film advance. ~ Excellent condition.
	Stock No 663 Kodak Instamatic 56X Made in England, Simple little camera, flash cube socket, no frills. In original Plastic box. ~ As New condition.
	Stock No 1429 Kodak Instamatic 56X Made in England, Simple little 126 cartridg camera, flash cube socket, no frills. In original cardboard box which has seen better days. Silver Kodak. ~ As New condition.

	Stock No 1258 Kodak Instamatic 77X c1978. Made in Germany. Basic model with cube socket for flash. ~ Good clean condition.
	Stock No 1971 Kodak Instamatic 77X c1978. Black and Grey plastic camera for 126 film. Socket for Magicube flash. Sales box & wrist strap etc. ~ Very good condition.
	Stock No 732 Kodak Instamatic 100 Made in Australia. c1963-66. With pop-up flash for "peanut" bulbs. Takes 2 x AA batteries. This one has a soft wrap-around case. ~ Good clean condition.
	Stock No 581 Kodak Instamatic 104 c1965-68. Made in Australia. Cube flash socket. ~ Good clean condition.

	Stock No 730 Kodak Instamatic 133 c1968-71. Takes 1 x PX23 battery. Made in England. Socket for cubeflash. With field case. ~ Good clean condition.
	Stock No 234 Kodak Instamatic 133 Made in England, Simple little camera, no frills. ~ Fair to good condition.
	Stock No 109 Kodak Instamatic 133x Made in England. Cube socket flash. Manual film advance. 2 weather settings. ~ Fair to good condition.
	Stock No 633 Kodak Instamatic 134 An unusual model that also has a meter that uses the type of unavailable batteries. The shutter works. This is also a variation in the style of the instamatic, and eminently collectible. ~ Light discolouration on the back, some lettering colour missing.
	Stock No 844 Kodak Instamatic 150 c1964-66. Made in USA. Spring motor model. Pop-up flash for AG-1 bulbs. ~ Good condition, however there is a name scratched on the bottom.
	Stock No 2640 Kodak Instamatic 154 c1965-69. Made in USA. Spring motor model. ~ Good cosmetic condition, 'cover cap' is missing from the winder.
	Stock No 608 Kodak Instamatic 155X Made in England, Simple little camera, no frills. With field case. ~ Good clean condition.
	Stock No 1766 Kodak Instamatic 155X Made in England, Simple little camera, no frills. With Display case and sales box. ~ Camera as new condition, box fair.
	Stock No 2639 Kodak Instamatic 174 c1968-71. Made in USA. Spring motor model. ~ Good cosmetic condition, shutter jamed open.
	Stock No 056 Kodak Instamatic 177X Plastic display case + strap. Kodar lens. ~ Good clean condition.
	Stock No 849 Kodak Instamatic 200 Scarce English model. Weather symbols on front for exposure. Pop-up flash. ~ Excellent condition.
	Stock No 1207 Kodak Instamatic 204 Kodar lens, mount 255. 4 Weather settings. Takes 2 x Mallory Mn-2400, Ever Ready HP16 batteries. Flashcube socket. Box and Instruction Booklet. ~ As new condition, except that there is some writing on the box.
	Stock No 842 Kodak Instamatic 224 Rare camera from Germany. Lever wind. ~ Good clean condition.
	Stock No 768 Kodak Instamatic 233 c1968-70. Reomar f6.6 lens, weather settings. Soft protector case, wrist strap and instructions ~ As New condition.
	Stock No 336 Kodak Instamatic 233X 1968-70. Like the 233 but lever action and X cube for flash. Reomar f6.6 lens. Field case, box. ~ Good clean condition.
	Stock No 854 Kodak Instamatic 250 c1965-67. Streamlined continental styling, Lever advance. Rodenstock Reomar f 2.8 38mm in Compur. All seems to work. Exp. Calculator on top of flip up flash replaced with facsimiles, but looks ok. AG-1 flash. With field case and shoulder strap. ~ Good condition although the case some wear marks.
	Stock No 733 Kodak Instamatic 255X Made in England, Simple little camera, no frills. ~ Excellent condition.
	Stock No 893 Kodak Instamatic 277X English made, better quality with weather symbol exposure setting. Silver front plate, blue logo. Very pretty. With field case. ~ Excellent condition.
	Stock No 851 Kodak Instamatic 300 c1963-66. Made in USA. Coupled selenium meter. Pop-up flash. Field case, broken catch. ~ Good condition.
	Stock No 1651 Kodak Instamatic 304 c1965-69. Made in England. Coupled selenium meter. Box. ~ As new condition, box as per photo.
	Stock No 377 Kodak Instamatic 314 c1968-71. Kodar lens. ~ Good clean condition.

	Stock No 2467 Kodak Instamatic 355X electronic Made in Germany. Cube flash socket. The 355X needs either alkaline batteries type 4LR44 (also known as PX28A, A544, K28A, V34PX, V4034PX) or silver oxide batteries 4SR44 (a.k.a. PX28, V28PX, 544). ~ Very Good Condition.
	Stock No 1578 Kodak Instamatic 400 c1963-65. Spring motor model with selenium meter. Field case (strap is broken). Made in USA. Pop-up flash bulb holder. Kodar lens. ~ Good clean condition.
	Stock No 542 Kodak Instamatic 404 c1965-69. Made in USA. Spring motor model with selenium meter. ~ This camera shows some minor usage marks but is very clean overall. The spring motor is fully operational and the selenium meter appears to be working correctly.
	Stock No 634 Kodak Instamatic 414 The Instamatic 414 is a motor drive model, with large wind up knob for the clockwork mechanism. It works believe it or not. You very rarely find them doing so. It also has auto exposure control through built in meter, but you can't get batteries to power the meter any more. Takes battery fired flashcubes as well. ~ Cosmetically great, although the battery door does not lock closed.
	Stock No 279 Kodak Instamatic 500 c1963-66. Hard leather case. This German camera takes Instamatic (126) cartridges and was manufactured from 1963 to 1966. The 38mm f2/2.8 lens is spring-loaded and can be pressed back into the body. The shutter is a Compur (13/30 to 15/500 sec.) ~ Excellent condition.
	Stock No 852 Kodak Instamatic 700 c1963-66. Made in USA.Ektanar f2.8 38mm in 3 speed. Takes 2 x N size batteries. Scarce Model. ~ Good condition.
	Stock No 1272 Kodak Instamatic 714 c1968-70. Metered with f/2.8 38mm Ektar lens. Socket for Cubeflash. Takes 2 x PX-825 batteries. Shutter 60, 125, 250, 30, B. Automatic Daylight exposure and Flash control. With Instruction Book, Shoulder Strap, 2 Batteries (probably flat), original box. ~ Very good condition.
	Stock No 846 Kodak Instamatic 800 c1964-66. Made in USA. Spring motor model.with meter and rangefinder. F2.8 lens. Scarce Model. ~ Fair to Good condition.
	Stock No 839 Kodak Instamatic 804 c1965-70. Made in USA. Spring motor model with meter and rangfinder. F2.8 lens. ~ Fair to Good condition, some pitting of metal body.
	Stock No 853 Kodak Instamatic 814 c1968-70. Spring motor model with meter and rangfinder. F2.8 lens. Made in USA. Carry case and shoulder strap. ~ Good condition.
	Stock No 2537 Kodak Instamatic Reflex From the late 60's, the Instamatic Reflex is really a Retina in everything but name. Made at the Stuttgart, German Kodak factory, it is type 162 and is very similar to the Kodak Retina Reflex leaf shuttered SLR's. But of course this camera is designed around the 126 Kodakpak cartridge, and as such, was never embraced by "serious" photographers. So it is a little scarce, and makes a great addition to a Kodak, a 126, or a Retina collection. This is a chrome version,an earlier one without the hot shoe. Has a coax flash connection and a flashcube socket. One of the 1st electronic shuttered cameras. But like all leaf shuttered SLR's the complicated mechanism needed to cap the shutter for viewing makes them prone to problems, and few are found working today. Comes with a lovely SOLID leather carrying case. ~ This camera is in exc cosmetic condition, and as a display is as good as you will find. The shutter does not work. It is fitted with an f2.8 45mm fully interchangeable Schneider Xenar lens. This lens will also fit the Retina IIIS and the Retina Reflex S ,III and IV. It also had a major design fault, and virtually all of these cameras suffer from it. The vertical inserted battery holder was held in place by a clip that was held in turn held in place by a tiny triangular bit of plastic on the very corner of the camera body. The early models, like this one, had a metal clip, and that little piece of plastic broke very quickly. Later models of this camera had a plastic clip, but it only postponed the inevitable for a little while. This camera is complete, and still has the little triangular piece of plastic. But it is broken and has been glued back in place. This is never really successful as the pressure on it is immense, but this one IS all there.
	Stock No 835 Kodak Instamatic S-10 Unlike other Instamatics. c1967-72. Made in USA. Compact model with rectangular pop-out front, advance knob on end. Flashcube socket. ~ Camera is Good, Box is Fair.
	Stock No 843 Kodak Instamatic X-15 c1970-76. Made in USA. Basic model. ~ Excellent condition.
	Stock No 208 Kodak Instamatic X-15F (new in pack) In original pack. Made in USA. Flipflash socket. ~ As New condition.
	Stock No 832 Kodak Instamatic X-25 (new in pack) Outfit. Complete with box, wrist strap, film and one flash cube. c1970-74. Made in USA. Spring motor model. ~ Very Good condition.
	Stock No 834 Kodak Instamatic X-30 (new in pack) Outfit. Very scarce outfit. Although the camera itself is not uncommon, the outfit is. Complete with 'camera team sticker', film and one flash cube. ~ Very Good condition.
	Stock No 632 Kodak Instamatic X-35 X-35, the X depicting uses battery-less flash (X) cubes. mid 70's, this uses the unobtainable batteries to power its built in meter. ~ It has a name engraved on the base, otherwise it looks ok.
	Stock No 833 Kodak Instamatic X-35F Outfit. Complete with box, flipflash, film and wrist strap. c1970-76. Made in USA. Basic model with CDS meter. ~ Very Good condition.
	Stock No 2017 Kodak Instamatic X-45 c1970-74. Made in USA. Spring motor model with Cds meter. Takes 1 x PX 30 battery. With carry case. ~ Very Good Condition, all appears to work.
