Camera Information
The Polaroid i-zone camera is a simple camera which takes it own Polaroid instant (pocket) film. The camera itself, whilst quite fun is really very simple. It has quite a wide angled fixed focus lens and manual aperture control (F10, F12.5 & F34.5) marked by symbols. It has one shutter speed and this is synchronised with the built in flash gun.

The i-zone takes 2 'AA' type batteries - but only for the flash. After exposure - each shot is removed from the camera by pulling on a paper tab. This draws out the pictures when then develops in normal light just like the Polaroid SX-70 and Polaroid SLR680.

Introduced in 1999, these little cameras took the 'young girl " market by storm. Desinged to be colorful and catchy, they not only took little instant pictures, but they also took pics that came on a "sticker" back, so you could physically post them anywhere.

An interesting fact about I Zones. The picture area is 24 X 36mm.Same size as regualr 35mm film. They DO NOT use regular 35mm film though!

Made in many colours and some with promo motifs, they have become an emminent colledctable since the demise of Polaroid film products and film using cameras.

You will see these cameras listed on ebay and other places as useable and that film is freely available. This is not quite right. There IS some film still for sale, but it is now old, and polaroid film chemicals do not last too well. Be wary if paying big money for polaroid film.

No built-in speaker, Headphones are stereo, but the radio is monophonic only. * Has belt clip (but no carrying strap) * Camera body is available only in translucent teal with yellow trim. ~ Good condition.
